Vassar Golf Course
About Vassar Golf Course
Vassar Golf Course is a nine-hole public course laid out on the Vassar College campus in Poughkeepsie. Established in 1930, it measures roughly 2,500 yards and winds among mature trees that lend the layout its character.
Play is on a first-come, first-served basis. The terrain suits walking, though golf carts are available, and a typical round takes about two hours. The course accommodates golfers of all levels, including juniors, seniors and families, and presents a reasonable test for beginner and intermediate players.
