Pleasantville Country Club is a private club set among the rolling hills and rock outcroppings characteristic of Westchester County.
The course was designed in 1926 by A.W. Tillinghast and features narrow, tree-lined fairways along with contoured, well-bunkered greens. Water hazards come into play on four holes, and the tees and greens have been renovated in recent years.
The layout is a nine-hole course with double tees, allowing for an eighteen-hole round. Yardage is modest, so the challenge rests on placing the tee shot and executing precise approach shots, making the course playable for beginners while still testing experienced golfers. Each hole has its own distinct character.
