Bluff Point Golf Resort
About Bluff Point Golf Resort
Bluff Point Golf Resort occupies a historic property on the shores of Lake Champlain, a setting that once drew vacationing U.S. presidents, including McKinley and Taft as well as a young Franklin D. Roosevelt, along with Babe Ruth and members of the Astor and Vanderbilt families. Golf's early figures, among them Walter Hagen and Gene Sarazen, also played here.
The championship layout was designed by Albert W. Tillinghast, the architect behind Winged Foot, Baltusrol and Bethpage Black. Many holes are framed by century-old cottonwoods, and the design is both testing and walkable. Carts are included with play.
