About Orchard Park Country Club
Orchard Park Country Club sits on the southeastern edge of the Buffalo area, with the clubhouse in the village of Orchard Park and much of the golf course extending into the surrounding town. The club's history reaches back more than a century, predating the 1946 incorporation of Orchard Park Country Club Inc.
The course was laid out in 1916 by Walter J. Travis, during the years when the property operated as a division of The Park Country Club of Buffalo. Travis went on to be credited with roughly fifty course designs. The club keeps his memory present through a room named for him, where memorabilia connected to his career is displayed.
