About Lima Golf & Country Club

Lima Golf & Country Club is a semi-private facility open to public play, located a short drive from Rochester, New York, with the Bristol Mountains forming the surrounding backdrop. The club offers 36 holes across two 18-hole courses and hosts tournaments and leagues from the Rochester and Finger Lakes area.

Charleston Pines dates to 1962 and was designed by architect John S. Checho Sr. It stretches 6,952 yards from the black tees, with a USGA course rating of 73.1 and a slope of 124, and routes through stands of native pines. Five sets of tees suit a range of playing abilities.

Island Oaks, the second 18, was laid out by John Checho and opened in 1995. It measures 6,102 yards from the blue tees, rated 70.5 with a slope of 124, and makes use of the area's gentle terrain and natural water hazards across four sets of tees.

Practice amenities include a driving range along with putting and chipping greens.
