Lyndon Golf Course ranks among the oldest courses in Central New York. Its original nine holes were laid out in 1907 by David Campbell, a member of the Onondaga Golf Club, on land belonging to Earnest White across the road from Onondaga. The arrangement gave Onondaga an eighteen-hole course, and the club leased the Lyndon nine until 1930.
The E.I. White family later expanded the property into the eighteen-hole, par-68 layout played today. Course history includes a long-standing record of 55, set by club professional John Murray in a match against Walter Hagen, who posted a 59.
Memberships are available in several packages suited to different playing habits.
