About Colonial Springs Golf Club

Colonial Springs Golf Club occupies a stretch of sandy, rolling terrain in Farmingdale, just east of the Nassau/Suffolk line, where stands of oak and pine frame the holes. The club plays as a 27-hole layout, originally laid out by architect Arthur Hills.

In 2004 the club announced its transition to a private, members-only operation and engaged architect Robert Trent Jones, Jr. to redesign the course. The renovation work, since completed, reworked the holes with the aim of adding variety to the challenge while keeping the design in keeping with the natural landscape.
