Catskill Golf Club ranks among the oldest courses in the region, having been founded in 1927 as a private nine-hole club. Over the following decades it shifted to a semi-private format, opening play to the general public, and in 2000 a second nine was added to bring the layout to a full 18 holes.
The club continues to operate on a semi-private basis, with play available to the public as well as through membership. Members have access to additional facilities including a pool, the driving range, and USGA handicap services.
