Marine Park Golf Course
About Marine Park Golf Course
Marine Park Golf Course is an 18-hole public course in southern Brooklyn, open year-round. Designed in 1964 by architect Robert Trent Jones, Sr., the links-style layout takes in wide water views and includes a driving range and practice areas.
Four sets of tees stretch the course from just over 5,200 yards at the forward markers to more than 7,000 yards from the championship tees, making it the longest of New York City's municipal courses. The front nine plays to a par of 35 and the back nine to 37. Trees are scarce here; instead, the difficulty comes from unmowed berms, quick greens and the wind blowing in off Jamaica Bay.
