Ruby View Golf Course

Ruby View Golf Course is an 18-hole layout in Elko, Nevada, with four sets of tees — gold, blue, white and red. The gold, blue and white tees play to a par of 71, while the red tees play to par 72. From the blue tees the course measures 6,631 yards with a rating of 68.5 and a slope of 115; the red tees measure 5,332 yards, rated 67.5 with a slope of 117.

The course has a long history in the area. Its original site, used before 1968, occupied ground now taken up by Great Basin College, Interstate 80 and neighboring properties, with the former clubhouse still standing at Skyline Drive and Ruby Vista Drive. Construction of the interstate and the college prompted a move, and a new nine holes opened at the present location in 1968, followed by a second nine in May 1972. The property covers roughly 160 original acres, with another 100 acres acquired for possible future expansion.
