Rancocas Golf Club
About Rancocas Golf Club
Rancocas Golf Club in Willingboro was designed in 1966 by architect Robert Trent Jones, Sr., and takes its name from a local Native American tribe. The 6,602-yard layout was routed to work with the existing landscape and retain the natural character of the surrounding land.
The two nines play quite differently. The front nine is heavily bunkered, while the back nine runs through tree-lined fairways across rolling terrain. The 13th, a 568-yard par 5, is the course's signature hole, climbing uphill through a double dogleg to a green ringed by bunkers. In all, the course has more than 90 bunkers and greens planted with a mix of bent grass and Poa.
