About Rock Spring Golf Club
Rock Spring Golf Club in West Orange is a public course designed by architect Seth Raynor, whose portfolio includes Fishers Island in New York, Shoreacres near Chicago and Mid Ocean Club in Bermuda. It is one of only two Raynor designs in the United States open to public play.
Founded in 1925, the par-71 layout measures roughly 6,600 yards and occupies rolling, tree-lined ground. Many of Raynor's signature design features are present, most notably the distinctive and inventive green complexes.

The course has hosted a range of competitions, including the 2022 MGA Men's Public Links Championship, the 2021 MGA Women's Public Links Championship, the 2020 NJSGA Men's Public Links Championship, the New Jersey State Open in 1981, 1990, 2000 and 2009, the US Healthcare Classic, and numerous state PGA and USGA qualifiers.
Set about 15 miles west of Manhattan, the property includes a clubhouse with wide views of the Manhattan skyline, Cable Lake and Second Mountain.
