Jumping Brook Country Club
About Jumping Brook Country Club
Jumping Brook Country Club in Neptune traces its origins to the 1920s and the work of golf architect A.W. Tillinghast and his longtime associate Willard Wilkinson, who had served as vice president of Tillinghast's design firm before setting out on his own in 1924. The two had previously collaborated on Winged Foot and Baltusrol. Tillinghast was known for shaping courses on site rather than on paper, directing workmen and their mule-drawn scoops as bunkers, contours and greens took form in the field.
