About Morris County Golf Club
Morris County Golf Club is a private, members-only club in Morristown, New Jersey, founded in 1894. Its golf course was co-designed by Charles Blair Macdonald and Seth Raynor, placing it among the works of the Golden Age of American course architecture. Alongside golf, the club offers racquet sports, swimming, dining and social events.
The club was unusual from the outset, having been planned, organized and run by women at a time when that was rare. Its founding members established an institution that joined the United States Golf Association in 1895 and became the first venue in New Jersey to host a national championship.

Over the years a number of notable figures in the game have been connected with the club, among them Harry Vardon, Ted Ray, Bobby Jones, Chick Evans, Walter Kozak, Elaine and Louis Gillespie, and Billy Dear.
