Oak Hill Golf Club
About Oak Hill Golf Club
Oak Hill Golf Club in Milford, New Jersey, grew out of the efforts of a local community devoted to the game, with volunteers even organizing "rock-picking parties" to help clear the ground for the course they envisioned.
Its roots trace back to the Riegel Paper Corporation, which opened a mill along the Delaware River in Holland Township in 1907. By the 1950s, the company's community foundation was supporting local sporting events and running a golf league for mill employees and area residents, laying the groundwork for the club that followed.
