Ron Jaworski's Blue Heron Pines Golf Club

Blue Heron Pines Golf Club has welcomed golfers in Egg Harbor City since 1993. The 18-hole layout was designed by architect Stephen Kay, who routed it to work with the surrounding Atlantic County Pinelands rather than against them, leaving mature tree lines, water features and strategic bunkering as the defining elements of the property.

The course is public but also has a membership, so both members and visiting players have access. Tree-lined fairways place a premium on accuracy from the tee, water comes into play on several holes and calls for careful club selection, and sand traps guard the greens in a way that favors approaches played from the proper angle. The variety from hole to hole gives experienced players plenty to think about while remaining playable for a range of skill levels.
