Plainfield Country Club is a private, family-oriented club in Edison, New Jersey, built around a Donald Ross golf course that has since been restored by architect Gil Hanse.
Founded in 1890, the club also maintains one of the larger racquets programs in New Jersey, with tennis, platform tennis and squash, along with a pool complex that was fully renovated in 2011. The turn-of-the-century clubhouse sits on the highest point in Middlesex County and offers indoor and outdoor dining with views toward the Watchung Mountains and the New York City skyline.

The course has hosted professional championship play, including PGA TOUR events in August 2011, won by Dustin Johnson, and in 2015, won by Jason Day, both of which raised funds for area charities. The club was the first private country club to launch a First Tee program and supports it annually, including college scholarships for children in central New Jersey.
