The Shore Club
About The Shore Club
The Shore Club traces its origins to 1916, when it was established as the Wildwood Golf and Country Club. A homemade nine-hole layout opened for play in 1918, and in 1922 Wayne E. Stiles, working with John Van Kleek, designed and built the 18-hole course in use today. Several changes have followed over the decades, among them two holes designed by Brian Ault, though the character of the original Stiles routing remains evident.
In December 2017, a group of members came together to re-establish the property as The Shore Club, reorganizing it as a private club oriented toward golfers, families and social membership on the Jersey Shore.
