About Knoll Golf Club West
Knoll West is one of two 18-hole courses that make up the Knoll Country Club, set across 360 wooded acres in Parsippany–Troy Hills Township. The club traces its origins to the 1920s, when a small group of wealthy golfers set out to build a private course for their own use.
Designed by Charles H. Banks, the West course opened in 1929 as a championship layout. It plays to a par of 70, measuring 6,878 yards from the black tees and 6,479 yards from the blue. Apart from minor alterations over the decades, the routing remains much as it was originally built. The course operates as semi-private and has grown to a membership of more than 750.

The club's companion layout, Knoll East, was designed by Hal Purdy and established in 1961. It is also a par 70, playing 5,884 yards from the white tees, and is open to public play. A range of membership options and amenities is available.
