About Montammy Golf Club
Montammy Golf Club is a private country club in Alpine, in Bergen County, set in the rolling hills of the Palisades above the Hudson River, a short drive north of the George Washington Bridge. The club was founded in 1966.
The 18-hole course, completed that same year, was laid out by Frank Duane, an architect who worked earlier with Robert Trent Jones and later with Arnold Palmer. The design is rolling and tree-lined, with large, receptive greens carrying considerable undulation. A multi-year renovation program culminated in the reworking of four holes by architect Rees Jones. Five sets of tees stretch the course from about 5,400 yards up front to 6,875 yards from the championship markers.

Beyond golf, the club has six Har-Tru Hydro courts, two hard courts, pickleball courts, a tennis pro shop and instruction, plus a swimming area with a children's playground. The clubhouse holds dining, locker and athletic facilities.
