About Maplewood Golf Course & Inn
Set in the mountains of northern New Hampshire, Maplewood Golf Course & Inn pairs an 18-hole course with lodging in a property whose history reaches back to 1816, when the site began as a small cottage and later grew into one of New England's grand hotel developments. The stone building that now houses the Inn at Maplewood was constructed in 1889 as a casino.
Golf arrived in 1904 as a nine-hole layout, later redesigned by Donald Ross into the present 18 holes. Among its features is an unusual par 6 measuring more than 650 yards.
On-site dining is available in the Grill Room, and the property also hosts groups and events.
