About Scenic Knolls Golf Course
Scenic Knolls Golf Course is a nine-hole public course located two miles north of the Highway 26 and Highway 29 intersection in Mitchell, Nebraska. Designed by golf course architect Marty Johnson and built in the early 1990s, it plays to a par of 36, measuring 3,261 yards from the amateur tees and 2,573 yards from the ladies tees. Views across the surrounding area include Scotts Bluff National Monument.

The layout accommodates a range of skill levels, with wide bail-out areas for newer golfers and rolling fairways and greens to test more experienced players. Putting surfaces are large and undulating, with few flat putts, while thick rough produces uneven lies. Native grass areas border many holes, and a handful of water hazards and sand traps are scattered across the course. A practice facility is also on site, along with RV electrical and water hookups.
