Mayville Golf Club dates to 1967, when Leo Johnson designed and built the course in rural Mayville, North Dakota. Johnson routed a number of the holes along the Goose River, which shapes the character of the layout.
The clubhouse was constructed in 1968–69 and received a full remodel in 2021. The club is supported by a membership that spans a wide range of ages, united by an interest in the game.
