About Bayonet At Puppy Creek
Bayonet at Puppy Creek sits amid acres of cultivated turfgrass, the work of a family that has grown sod for three generations and chose to turn a tract of its land into a golf course.
Architect Willard Byrd laid out 18 holes intended to test every part of a player's game. The routing includes uphill and downhill par 3s, par 5s that can be reached in two, and doglegs bending both left and right. Puppy Creek, the property's defining natural feature, comes into play on four holes.
