Taberna Country Club
About Taberna Country Club
Taberna Country Club sits within the Taberna community, roughly five miles east of downtown New Bern along Highway 70 East and about a 40-minute drive from the Crystal Coast beaches. The name Taberna, meaning "place of hospitality," was the original name of Bern, Switzerland, the sister city for which New Bern was named.
The surrounding residential community covers some 1,100 acres and includes about 800 homes, along with a park, a nature trail, a canoe livery and a fishing lake for residents.
