About The Divide Golf Club
The Divide Golf Club sits in Matthews, North Carolina, about 20 minutes southeast of Charlotte. The 18-hole course opened in 1995 to a design by John Cassell II, and its name comes from its position along the line dividing Mecklenburg and Union counties.
The traditional layout plays to wide Bermuda fairways that leave room off the tee while favoring accurate approach shots. Greens have been renovated to Diamond Zoysia, a surface suited to North Carolina's warm climate, and water comes into play on several holes, adding both strategic interest and scenery. The course is playable for a range of skill levels.
