About Lake Hickory Country Club Town Course

Lake Hickory Country Club traces its origins to 1922, when it was founded as Hickory Country Club, with the course opening the following year. Its early days centered on a simple clubhouse, a nine-hole layout and a swimming pool with mountain views.

Now a private club, it has served the Hickory, North Carolina area for more than a century, marking its 100th anniversary while continuing to combine golf with dining and social activities. Club traditions have long included member dinners and holiday dances.
