Ironclad Golf
About Ironclad Golf
Ironclad Golf & Beer Garden in Hampstead combines a long-standing golf course with a casual social venue, a direction the property has been pursuing since 2020.
The course was designed by architect Russell T. Burney and opened in 1970. Laid out in a figure-eight routing, it measures over 6,353 yards and sits only a few minutes from the coast, where sea breezes reach the property during the warmer months.
Alongside the golf is a large multi-level outdoor beer garden, among the biggest in North Carolina, with room for more than 500 guests. The space hosts live music, trivia nights, a farmer's market and other community gatherings.
