About Goldsboro Golf Course
Goldsboro Golf Course is a municipal course in Goldsboro, North Carolina, originally built in 1941. In 1999 it underwent a complete renovation overseen by golf course architect John LaFoy. The reworked layout features large Champion Bermuda greens averaging more than 6,000 square feet apiece, 419 Bermuda fairways and concrete cart paths throughout.
The practice area includes nine hitting mats, a 20-station grass tee, a practice bunker, a chipping green and four target greens set at laser-measured distances, giving players of varying skill levels room to work on each part of their game. Lessons are available by appointment with PGA professional Obie Agbasi.

Junior play is encouraged, with reduced rates for school-age children and complimentary play for those eight and under when accompanied by a paying adult. All players must bring their own clubs, and appropriate golf attire is required; t-shirts are not permitted.
