About Tradition Golf Course
The Tradition Golf Club sits in northeast Charlotte, near the University Research Park and the I-485 beltway. Designed by John Cassell, II, the par-72 course opened in 1996 and remains tucked into its natural, wooded surroundings.
The layout is tree-lined throughout, with winding Bermudagrass fairways and greens that place a premium on strategic shot-making. Three holes play as doglegs, while the rest run straight from the tee. A few greens are noticeably undulating, though most are relatively flat. Water is a recurring factor, with eleven hazards in the form of lakes and streams coming into play across the round.
