About Providence Country Club

Providence Country Club is a private, full-service club in Charlotte, North Carolina, established in 1989. Its golf course was designed by Dan Maples, and the property also includes 14 tennis courts, aquatic and fitness facilities, and dining and event space.

The club joined the McConnell Golf portfolio in 2016, after which the clubhouse received $1.3 million in improvements, including a new fitness center, a children's room and a renovated golf shop. In 2018, architect Kris Spence led a renovation of the course that restored the bunkers, expanded the irrigation system to improve conditioning, and converted the greens to Champion Bermuda.
