Highland Creek Golf Club
About Highland Creek Golf Club
Highland Creek Golf Club is an 18-hole public course in Charlotte, North Carolina, laid out by the design firm of Clifton, Ezell and Clifton. The routing was shaped to retain the natural features of the site, threading between mature trees and winding creeks, with the surrounding residential community set back from the fairways to leave open space around play.
The course has Bermudagrass greens and Bermuda fairways, with four sets of tees stretching from 5,080 to 7,000 yards. More than 65 bunkers are in play, and water comes into the picture on 11 holes. The par-4 9th is a notable test, demanding an accurate tee shot into a narrow fairway bordered on the left by a creek.
