About The Valley Golf Course
The Valley Golf Course sits along the Haw River in Burlington, North Carolina. The layout twists and turns, placing a premium on shaping shots, while contoured bunkers guard the approaches into the greens. Holes 10 through 13 run beside the river, where the city's walking trail follows the bank and kayakers and canoeists pass by on the water.
The 18-hole, par-70 course was designed by Ellis Maples and is owned and operated by the City of Burlington, open for both regular and tournament play, including junior and senior golfers.
A pro shop on site carries golf equipment and apparel from a range of major manufacturers, and the staff accept trade-ins and purchase gently used clubs.
