About Boone Golf Club
Boone Golf Club occupies a mountain setting in Boone, North Carolina, at an elevation of 3,346 feet. The course was designed in 1959 by Ellis Maples, who trained under Donald Ross.
Maples laid out more than 60 golf clubs across the southern United States, among them Whispering Pines, Pinehurst No. 5 and Grandfather Mountain Golf & Country Club. Boone Golf Club is open to the public.
