Warrenton Golf Course sits apart from the housing-lined layouts common to the region, with fairways routed through mature woods for a quiet, natural setting.
The traditional layout opened in 1971, with the back nine following in the spring of 1978 and a redesign of the front nine completed in 1999. Ongoing renovations have kept the course current for modern play. Most holes are defended by well-placed sand bunkers and water hazards, and the routing mixes in a number of doglegs. The contoured zoysia fairways are maintained for consistent playing conditions, and the design is approachable for a range of skill levels.
A practice green is available for warming up, and a pavilion seating up to 200 can host outings. A teaching professional is on staff.
