About Bellerive Country Club
Bellerive Country Club is a private club in the St. Louis area, serving its members' golf, dining, recreational, and social needs.
The club traces its origins to 1897, when it opened in north St. Louis as a nine-hole course with 166 members. The membership incorporated as Bellerive Country Club in 1910, taking its name from Louis St. Ange de Bellerive, the last French commander in North America. In that same year, Scottish architect Robert Foulis laid out the "new Bellerive" in Normandy, which served as the club's home for the following 50 years.
