Family Golf and Learning Center in Kirkwood focuses on instruction, with a junior clinic program built around the Operation 36 curriculum. The developmental model sets defined goals for each stage of a young golfer's progress, allowing instructors and parents to follow improvement and advance students through the clinics as their skills grow.
Operation 36 moves players from green to tee: juniors begin playing nine holes from 25 yards out and aim to shoot 36 or better, then graduate to the next level at 50 yards, continuing outward as they succeed. Clinic offerings include Birdie Bandits, Fundamentals and Learn to Play, along with eight-week, hour-long lesson series. Juniors enrolled in the clinics also take part in monthly play days on the golf course.
