Aberdeen Golf Club

Designed by golf course architect Gary Kern, Aberdeen Golf Club draws its inspiration from the links courses of Scotland. Though set well inland, the layout mirrors the look and strategy of traditional links golf, with firm turf, natural contouring and prevailing winds that reward inventive shot-making and low running approaches into the greens.

Scottish details appear throughout. Deep pot bunkers faced with stacked sod demand precision, while dune-style mounding frames the holes and shapes the rough. Native grasses are left to grow long in places, placing a premium on accuracy and course management rather than length alone. Burns modeled on traditional drainage canals cut across the property and affect both line and club selection.
