Orono Orchards Public Golf Course sits near the north shore of Lake Minnetonka in Orono, Minnesota. Founded in 1924, it was the first privately owned public course in the state and the first in Minnesota to feature grass greens, at a time when other public courses still used sand greens.
The nine-hole layout rolls over varying topography, with elevated greens, mature trees and a wooded buffer around its perimeter. It presents a playable challenge for golfers across skill levels and is known for a family-friendly atmosphere.
