About Lynx National Golf Course
Lynx National is an 18-hole championship course in Sauk Centre, laid out in the Scottish links tradition by golf architect Mike Morley. The routing follows the winding course of the Sauk River.
Tall prairie grasses and wildflowers line the rough alongside well-groomed fairways, while rolling hills and open exposure to the wind add to the test. Marshy wetlands and water come into play on several holes and also draw wildlife to the surrounding natural area.
Fifty-three bunkers are placed strategically throughout the layout, and the large, undulating greens are the course's defining feature, averaging close to 8,000 square feet apiece.
