Hawk Creek Country Club

Hawk Creek Country Club in Raymond, Minnesota, began as a community-driven project. More than two decades ago, residents of the town set out to create a recreational gathering place close to home, and an original board of local volunteers — Ken Damhof, Marilyn Goeman, Kevin Hauser, Duane Hultgren, Wayne Kluver, Larry Macht, Alan Teeple, Ron Ulferts and Harry Zimmer — guided the effort from idea to reality.

The course opened in the summer of 1997 and has since hosted more than 200,000 rounds played by area residents and visiting golfers. It has grown into a summer gathering spot in Kandiyohi County, sustained largely by its core membership and ongoing local support.
