About Rose Lake Golf Club
Rose Lake Golf Club began as a 9-hole course in 1957 under the name Lakeview Public Golf Course, built, owned and run by Clarence Zufall. In 1967 the membership bought the course, incorporated it and adopted the Rose Lake Golf Club name.
Land acquired in 1985 allowed an expansion to 18 holes. Fairway Architects, Inc. drew up the new layout, folding several of the original holes into it, with initial rough design work by Joel Goldstrand and Ron Bloom in 1986. The full 18 holes opened on July 11, 1987.

After severe flooding in 1993, holes 3, 4 and 11 were redesigned to reduce future flood risk, a project handled by course superintendent Scott Drever with shaping by Par 4 Shaping. The grounds include a lake, two large ponds and a stream, giving the course a natural setting and a test for golfers of varying ability.
