Elk River Golf Club
About Elk River Golf Club
Elk River Golf Club sits about 45 minutes northwest of downtown Minneapolis. The club is member-owned but extends playing privileges to the public.
The layout is an 18-hole, par-72 championship course with varied terrain and a mix of challenges. Tree-lined fairways run through oak woods, with a meandering creek and water hazards placed to come into play on several holes, making the course approachable for newer golfers while still testing stronger players.
The greens are small and elevated, putting an emphasis on accuracy and shotmaking, and a round here often calls on nearly every club in the bag.
