Double Eagle Golf & Grille
About Double Eagle Golf & Grille
Double Eagle is a public nine-hole golf course in Eagle Bend, Minnesota, roughly two hours northwest of the Twin Cities. It opened in 1983 and was among the first courses in the United States to reverse the direction of play on alternating days, so the routing changes from one round to the next.
The layout was designed by Joel Goldstrand, a Minnesota native and former PGA Tour player. The reversible routing effectively creates two separate nine-hole experiences, known as the Gold Course and the Green Course.
