About Wildflower Golf Course
Wildflower Golf Course sits just outside Detroit Lakes, where open prairie and oak-lined fairways frame the layout. Designed by Midwest architect Joel Goldstrand, the course follows a "Prairie Links" style that is uncommon in Minnesota. The 18-hole, par-72 layout stretches beyond 7,000 yards from the back of five tee sets, with sand and stands of native prairie grass shaping the challenge for a wide range of abilities.
Across the highway, the Fair Hills Resort Executive 9 offers a shorter companion round at par 31. Built for a quick, family-friendly game, it suits beginners learning the basics as well as more experienced players working on their short game, and it is open to the public.
