Chosen Valley Golf Club is a nine-hole public course set in the Chosen Valley of southeastern Minnesota, roughly 25 miles south of Rochester along US Highway 52. The layout plays 2,933 yards from the back tees to a par of 35.
Rolling terrain and valley scenery shape the round, and the course is set up to give golfers of varying ability a challenge. Local rules address the overlap between the first and second fairways near the clubhouse: shots played from the second fairway into the first must not be hit over the clubhouse or the first tee, and balls that come to rest in the first fairway from the second tee may be returned to the second fairway at the point of entry without penalty.
