About Dahlgreen Golf Club
Dahlgreen Golf Club is an 18-hole championship course set about five miles west of Chaska, Minnesota. The club opened in 1969.
The property was farmed from 1919 to 1965 by William G. and Emma Tessman, Sr. When the family began weighing the future of the land, two of their five children, Bill and Blanche, were still living in the area, Blanche with her husband Paul Stans. Emma's suggestion that the farm become a golf course took hold with the three of them.
Because the land sat in Dahlgren Township, Paul proposed adding an "e" to the township name, and the course became Dahlgreen Golf Club.
