Gopher Hills Golf Course sits in Cannon Falls, Minnesota, between Hastings and Red Wing and about 30 minutes south of the Twin Cities. The property holds 27 holes across three distinct nines: an 18-hole championship course made up of the Scottish Heath front nine and the Irish Glen back nine, plus the par-30 Lynx executive nine.
The original nine, designed by Dr. Gordon Emerson and opened in 1995, now plays as holes 10 through 18. It reflects a classic early American style, with tree-lined fairways, shaped bunkers, considerable elevation change and a number of risk-and-reward decisions.

The Gopher Hills Golf Academy includes a driving range and a short-game practice area, and lessons are offered on Saturday mornings with a purchase of range balls. The layouts are set up to suit a range of skill levels.
