Twin pines golf course

Twin Pines Golf Course in Bagley, Minnesota plays over rolling, hilly terrain where stands of pine line many of the fairways and prevailing westerly winds shape club selection.

The opening par 4 climbs to a hilltop and plays into the wind, with pines flanking both sides of the fairway and a green that slopes sharply from back to front. The second hole runs along a fence line that marks out of bounds, with an uphill approach to a two-tiered green; longer hitters can cut the corner by carrying the far fence corner. The third is a shorter par 5 with out of bounds down the entire left side, more pines pinching the fairway, and a large, fairly flat green guarded at the front right by a small bunker and a pine tree.
