Shenandoah Country Club
About Shenandoah Country Club
Shenandoah Country Club in West Bloomfield is a private club owned by the Chaldean Iraqi American Association of Michigan, an organization founded in 1943 by immigrants who settled in the region. The association purchased the Shenandoah property in 1989 and rebuilt it in 2002, operating it alongside Southfield Manor, which dates to 1981.
Access to the golf course is reserved for the club's membership, which numbers roughly 1,500, or close to 5,000 when families are counted. Beyond golf, the property includes an Olympic-size swimming pool, a fitness center and a large grand ballroom. A private dining room serves Iraqi cuisine and looks out over the course.
